Florence Cassez Declaration in prison
“Rage is my take. I cry through my innocence. Do not they know that the innocent will never be silent?” She says by phone from Mexico, with a quavering voice. “They won a battle, another, but not the war, my innocence will be recognized.”
Imprisoned in Mexico for over five years
Florence Cassez, sentenced in March 2009 for complicity in abductions and kidnappings, and imprisoned in Mexico for over five years, learned Thursday night that his appeal had been dismissed. Paris immediately responded by warning that the Mexican court decision would have consequences for France – Mexico relations. A warning applauded by the young woman. “It’s definitely important. I want with it but nothing is enough,” she says. “I want to thanks my supporters and my parents.”
