The African Union proposes sharing power in Ivory Coast

Share power. This is the proposal of the four heads of State delegated by the African Union to resolve the election crisis in Ivory Coast. The mediators also proposed an interim government until new elections.

Statement by Deputy Foreign Minister, Ibrahim Ibrahim

“I do not think the panel looks for one or the other, both Gbagbo and Alassane Ouattara, because it would lead to a destabilization of the country”, said Deputy Foreign Minister, Ibrahim Ibrahim, questioned on the sidelines of the parliamentary session in Cape Town, South Africa.
