United Nations Operation in Ivory Coast

Defence Forces and Security (FDS), loyal to President Laurent Gbagbo said on Sunday evening to be in possession of a list of 41 vehicles of the United Nations Operation in Côte d’Ivoire (UNOCI) they ordered detention.

“Following the instructions given recently by the Chief of Staff of the armed forces to patrol the defense and security in Ivory Coast now proceed to search the vehicles of Acronyms A hit because of the complicity of the established forces UNOCI with rebels, This alien force has changed its strategy to move freely and thus escaped the checks, “said the spokesperson of SDS Colonel Major Hilaire Babri Gohourou. According to him UNOCI “was so committed to using civilian vehicles with registrations that are no longer hit the same Acronyms. “The State Defence Staff is now in possession of a list of 41 of these vehicles,” he added.

Immediately informed of that other act of “treachery” of UNOCI, General Corps, Philippe Mangou, Chief of Staff of the SDS again “instructs the National Gendarmerie and National Police in order to immobilize these vehicles once identified with the various dams and to proceed carefully in search of their contents and to request the usage of such vehicles.”

“All the numbers of affected vehicles will be published throughout the press, the police, the gendarmerie and wherever necessary,” concluded the spokesman of the forces loyal to President Gbagbo.
