Fespaco film festival in Burkina Faso
The 22nd edition of the Panafrican Film and Television of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) will be held from February 26 to March 5, 2011 under the theme “African Cinema and Markets.”

FESPACO categorizes three main forms of certification: professionals (filmmakers and the film industry (for those who specialize in a field of cinema), press and festival.
About Fespaco
Without doubt the focus of the festival is the official competition. For African filmmakers who flock from all sides to participate in the demonstration, each edition is a challenge. The official competition is only open to films from Africa and the African Diaspora. The Panafrican Film and Television of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso began in 1972.
